Katie and Arnaldo chose to get married on December 31st and it was a perfect day for a winter wedding. The Christmas decorations were still up in the church and Katie's choice of colors played perfectly with the dull hues of wintertime.
We started the photography off with a few getting ready photos and Katie did not hold back. Her personality shone through and made my photographer's heart burst with joy.
My goal at weddings is to tell the story of the day. To portray a story strongly you must capture emotion and elements within the scene that point back to the subject matter. This wedding definitely created some of the strongest storytelling images I've ever taken. ♥
If I had to describe Katie and Arnaldo's wedding in just a few words I would choose these: Love, Joy and PERSONALITY!
